Classroom Themed Activity Packs for Spring, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter are making their appearance in classrooms now!
Spring is in the air! Spring is the theme this time of year in classrooms everywhere! Packs of blooming flowers, butterflies emerging, leprechaun mischief, bunnies hopping, yes, Spring is in the air and in the classroom! Not only, is it a new chapter of growth outdoors but also within the classroom! We have seen students grow throughout the year and now those budding learners are ready to fly, blossom, and hop into the next season of growth, SPRING!
With the fun humor of the silly leprechaun that becomes quite popular in March. He often spends quite a bit of time making mischief in our classroom, glitter trails, and tiny green footprints always give us a clue as to just who is behind these shenanigans! Not far behind comes a classroom favorite, the Easter Bunny, with its special eggs of colors far exceeding the leprechaun’s rainbow! All of these signs of Spring make great themes for engaging activities in the elementary classroom! In this post, you will find 6 Spring themed learning packs that include everything Spring themed!
Spring Themed Activities Are Blossoming!
The first signs of Spring are the flowers! Classroom Themed Activity Packs for Spring has a lot of activities to get little minds blooming with knowledge. Now that the weather permits kids back on the playground they are quick to notice the flowers. Often recess teachers receive a bouquet daily of those plentiful ‘buttercups’ that dot the playground.

The addition of the board coupled with the flashcards amps up the fun as students cover up the matching difference on colorful snails!

Little minds quickly become aware of the natural changes occurring around them in the Spring. The Butterflies Literacy and Math Bundle is a great way to incorporate science as well! The transformation of the caterpillar into the magnificent butterfly is always an intriguing topic piquing the curiosity of young learners. This Spring themed bundle nurtures that endearing curiosity in many ways. This bundle also goes great with the book about a very famous caterpillar!
Nothing says Spring better than the magical transformation of the butterfly! With this sequenced flap book kids can share what they have learned about the life cycle of a butterfly. It’s amazing how creative kids can be when designing their butterflies!

Springtime ‘War’
This Spring themed activity will have students comparing numbers in with the classic ‘war’ card concept. When comparing numbers this butterfly themed version of war will have kids not only talking numbers, but their inner budding scientist will emerge! Kids take turns turning over a card. They will compare the numbers and decide who has the highest number. For a twist you can always mix the game up a bit by saying the person with the lowest number is the winner of the round. This adds an added depth to the skill and adds a new perspective to comparing numbers. The highest number is not always the best number. This is fascinating to young learners.
